"This hotel has recently been refurbished and looks very nice, clean and tidy. Out room was pleasant and the bed was very comfortable. The only disappointment for us was breakfast was not served in the dining room (which I was looking forward to on Christmas morning) but in a stark function room with no windows or pleasant Christmas atmosphere. When we expressed our disappointment a very nice lady did accommodate us in the restaurant."

"Once again staff were lovely. Great hotel , everything you need. Close to the centre of Salisbury, 15 minute walk. Parking here £5 a night. Hotel is an older building full of character, near a river. Good breakfast and lovely and warm in all the common areas. Room was large, comfortable and everything we needed for a wonderful Christmas break. "

"We had a very nicely renovated large room on the second floor of the main building, looking out onto the pedestrian High Street. A little noise from the party-goers, but got to sleep fine. Buffet breakfast was plentiful but nothing special, ie bacon overdone, cheap sausages and weak filtered coffee but nice croissant and pastries."

"We stayed in Caboose for 2 nights. The location is excellent, just about 2 minuets away from the train station. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. The room was cosy and clean. The staff gave us complimentary cookies on arrival. Tea, coffee and bottled water are available in the room. We were also given breakfast vouchers that we used in a nearby cafe. Overall, we had an excellent stay and definitely would recommend to everyone visiting Salisbury. "

"The hotel was beautifully and tastefully decorated with really interesting prints and historical artefacts. The view from our room over the flood fields and to the cathedral were breathtaking. Breakfast provided hot and cold options, with fresh coffee and eggs as requested. Although there was no dinner service, the hotel provided a free shuttle (or taxi) into town and back so you can enjoy many of the dining options in town. The bar is open in the evenings with a friendly service and wide range of cocktails and alcohol options. The staff are super friendly and happy to help with any queries. Our two night stay was a delight and with ample free parking and a short walk into town, we will happily stay again."
