Location is perfect, very close to Bright Angel Trail. Dinning options are great. Facilities are nice. The only downside is parking, its hit or miss.

Amazing views and great location. Was gutted when they closed the park so we couldn’t stay for both our nights. The view alone is worth it but also you don’t have to queue to get in the park as you are already there.

After lunching at El Tovar we marched down to Kachina. There's no way in without a room key. We circled around until asking someone leaving that told us there is no desk, check in is at El Tovar and they did the same thing. Frustration quelled by being in one of the world's most beautiful natural wonder.
