"We had a great getaway at Playa Los Arcos. The style of the hotel is beautiful and makes you feel like you’ve escaped. Our room was not large but it was very comfortable. Having the sink separate from the rest of the bathroom was nice for getting ready. The hotel is situated right in the heart of downtown with a nice piece of beachfront. It was easy to walk everywhere and very safe. We met so many people who come to the hotel year after year and we know why. The size of the hotel is on the smaller side but felt boutique-ey. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meals at the buffet. It was quite small if you are used to big resorts but there was always something yummy, new and fresh. We ate at the a la carte restaurant one evening and had a lovely dinner. One small thing I would suggest to make the rooms more comfortable would be to add a full length mirror in each room. Our room backed onto the street and was a bit noisy in the evening but it always stopped around 11 and didn’t cause us any issues. "
