"We just stopped here for the night and got a pleasant surprise. Wonderful friendly staff, a good meal in the large gardens, a comfortable room. There was a bit of traffic noise so not ideal for a quiet getaway, but it was perfect for our needs as a stopping place to break up a long journey. "

"The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. I can’t say the stay was worth the price."

"Great little pub with large outside seating area. Pizza night Fridays & very nice too. Room very comfy a little warm being at the top of the building but had a good air con fan. Probably not a common problem in this part of the world!!!"
