"We had a fine stay. Our room was secluded. That is a good description. All the little balconies had a real secluded feel. Views to the other balconies were all obscured. Staff was game on. The cafe is recognized as one of the best restaurants on the island, get a dinner reservation well in advance of your stay."

"All of the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful (without being intrusive). The building is attractive and very well maintained and furnished. The pool is nice to hang around but not big enough for swimming. My room while not huge was very comfortable and the bathroom seemed renovated recently and was a real highlight - roomy and a nice shower. And the included breakfast was generous. All in all, a very pleasant stay. I would recommend."

"We had an amazing stay at the Conch House! Beautiful historic home with wonderful service! The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise, delicious home made treats and even mimosas. Great location, everything was walkable for us.We will definitely be back! "

"The location is excellent and the staff friendly. They give a complimentary continental breakfast and happy hour which was a nice surprise. The rooms were spacious which can be hard to find at a guesthouse in Key West. The only negative is there's no on site parking and parking in the area isn't the easiest to find."

"No need for a rental car. 1 uber to property from airport and walked everywhere from there which is great for us. Staff was awesome. Quiet and safe (locked gate to property with easy code). Continental breakfast was on time each day with plenty of food, but the only negative comment is that it could have been a better quality for the price. Equivalent to a lower quality hotel chain."

"Perfect location if you love the action on Duval St., which i do. Close to restaurants, sightseeing, shopping. Lovely gardens in back and idyllic pool. Good, well staffed breakfast. Friendly front desk. Just avoid room #5. Pretty compact and on a busy hallway. Closing blinds for privacy leaves you in a cave. Cable was out both days i was there if that matters to you. And a loud argument woke me up at 3 a.m. Go for a room farther in back and you will enjoy your stay. "

"Douglas house is a unique property that is a series of older homes converted to rental suites. It has a lovely courtyard in the back of the property with a small pool, lounges and tables. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Room 1 was adequate, but toilet needs an upgrade and towels definitely could be thirstier.
