Please get new pillows and upgrade the beds. Pillows were terrible sleeping was very difficult! Staff very kind and friendly. Breakfast was a good touch. We had a great time. Check in was amazing and quick. We will be back.

Location was great! It was hard to control the temp and humidity in the room making it a little uncomfortable. Bathroom was steamy. Mirror could have been relocated in room 5 to a different wall to allow use of the mirror.

Beautiful property, perfect for our one night in downtown KW. The check-in process was quick and easy. Location is close and walkable to everything you’d want to see in KW! Street parking was easy to find a few blocks from the property. The pool and sun deck are a great amenity, although it was overcast during our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

Exterior door dead bolt and handset locks were loose and in need of tightening. We had a late arrival and the first desk attendant put us in the wrong room. The next morning another desk attendant put us in our room we had initially reserved. He was very nice, friendly and helpful. This was our third stay at Heron House since 2002. Super convenient to Duval Street and surrounding areas.

The grounds were very pretty, heated pool, and good location. Continental breakfast was above average but the area containing the food was quite small and limited setting outside of that room. I had to eat in my room. Be aware if you are renting in January there is no heat in room #5. Also, there was no information mentioned about an additional $32 hotel charge on top of what we paid Expedia. The room rate was excessive for what you get.

The outside of the property was great, pool area and frontage. The rooms were poor. Furniture seems like from garage sale. Electrical outlets only work if you hold plug in while using (hair fryer, phone charger, etc). Window air conditioners for each room. Tile in shower was cracked in many spots and obviously leaked. Very small bathroom with just a pedestal sink. No place for toiletries.

The best part about our stay was the staff. They were very helpful and friendly. The property needs to be updated. I requested a new room after our first night. The staff was very accommodating to our request. Room 12 was incredibly small with the world’s smallest shower. The blinds didn’t cover the door for privacy. The bed is more like a torture chamber. To our disappointment, we discovered all of the beds have a very thin broke down mattress sitting on just the bed frame. This caused severe back pain. All new furniture along with box springs and mattresses are a must for your rental fees. The a/c and hot water heater need to be replaced as well. The room was hot and the water was not. Location was very convenient. Within walking distance to many places.
