"Lovely cottage in a nice quiet village. Plenty of local shops close by. Very comfortable place, all the amenities to make it home from home. Unfortunately I was working, but it was lovely to come home every evening, nice and warm and welcoming. Great wifi and plenty of DVDs etc to entertain yourself. I could imagine in Summer sitting outside in the garden and relaxing. Well worth a visit. "
"We’ve had a great stay at Bryn Derwen. The hosts are super friendly and very accommodating. We had a wonderful, freshly cooked breakfast and as a coeliac I was well catered for. The room was beautiful and spotless clean. Would definitely recommend! "
"Staff were lovely, building had beautiful details, we really enjoyed sunrise from the summer balcony in the common area. Complimentary breakfast was very good. "
"Great stay, lovely place with excellent facilities and a great location. We definitely recommend and will be back in the future.
Thanks to Jan (host) and Family "

"Everything was good, staff were fabulous, hotel was clean, only thing for me was that we were at the front and had the window open because it was very warm and the noise of traffic was terrible. Very very noisy road and fast speeding cars etc all night. Im a good sleeper but was awoke quite a few times by noisy traffic. I was hoping for the noise from owls or foxes haha . If i was to stay again i would ask for a room at the back ?"
"Nice hotel, a bit dated but that's in keeping with it's location. Room was nice & well equipped (tea tray, toiletries). Staff were friendly and, although we were out until after 9pm, we came back to a singer who was very good.
Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment.
For the price, I'd book again."
