However on arrival there is a check in desk by the door this is not where you check in a sign tells you to go to the main reception in X Hall but doesn't tell you where that hall is. "We had a great 3 days staying at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge. The location is beautiful, perfect for walking and exploring. Ned was really helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. "We were located in the annex, across the road, with on street parking. 1 flight of stairs to room which was sufficiently sized for an overnight. Tea/coffee and biscuits supplied. Bathroom well stocked, but lots of condensation as there was no window or fan? Builders were working on flat roof right outside the window which was a bit of a shock for both of us! Would recommend this hotel"

"I arrived early but was able to access my room straight away. I was initially told that my room still had to be paid for but I had prepaid. This was resolved quickly however. The hotel is conveniently located on a regular bus route and I took the opportunity to visit Blaenau Ffestiniog 20 minutes away. The evening meal was excellent with plenty of choice on the menu. My room was fine and extremely comfortable. Some slight traffic noise as it was at the front of the property."
