"Terrific staff. Very large room, king bed we're excellent linens. The bathroom towel warmer was a nice plus. They were very welcoming when we arrived and took a straight to our room even though it was very late. We slept well and really enjoyed the easy walk into town. About 8 minutes. Excellent parking right out front, completely off the street. I could hear a very slight amount of noise from the street but there was also a fan in the room and that blocked it out nicely. "Comfortable and nice atmosphere. Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bedroom was lovely but a couple of housekeeping issues and on the last morning the cold water stopped working. We didn't have breakfast as we were short on time and it cost £24. It would have been nice to have a cheaper continental option for those in a rush."

"Positives - a welcoming reception, comfortable bed, parking, everywhere spotless, decent kettle and good shower. Negatives - the small tv only receives a few channels - very few. It still seems tuned in to Freeview as it was when it first came out. The system probably just needs retuning. And there was a bit of rust on a grab rail in the shower. I reckon that these are tiny negatives and on balance I feel the hotel was good value."
