"Overall the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was excellent with quality food and friendly staff. The negative is the parking situation, with the NCP car park recommended by the hotel costing a shocking £29.00 for an overnight stay ( Arrived at 18:00 and departed at 08:00 the next day). "Lovely hotel in a good location the rooms are really nice, the only down side is that the breakfast service was really slow, the breakfast itself was lovely but it took ages before they took our order we waited a really long time even to get a cup of tea, also couldn't get in the car park and had trouble getting into the other car park they suggest you use."

"very nice comfortable hotel. Good Gym and pool facilities. Did not eat in the restaurant as a little out of my expenses price range. Ate in the bar. The food was very good, but the menu was a little limited and the bar restaurant lacked much atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly. As i was staying in November I saw very little of the outside areas, but the Christmas decorations that were up looked very pretty."

"The location in conveinent. The staff are friendly and the room was clean and had a coffee machine, fridge and Bluetooth speaker (nice touch). I did staying in the premiium suite. Would recommend the burger in the restaurant, very nice The only down point in that the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable."

"Stayed overnight as visiting with a friend. I think I was expecting the room to have have a little more old school luxury . I’d upgraded to a king room. All that was in the strange shaped room was a bed, desk and a random settle without the back. I had thought there would be an occasional chair, but maybe I was expecting too much. "Hard to explain but definitely not as good as it looks in pictures. It’s kind of like it’s been repurposed at a hotel but in a cheap way. Fixtures and fittings are cheap kind of way and it’s poorly finished. Poor lighting etc. no coffee machine in room. Good to have the gym next door and great dining options. Very friendly staff at reception."

"Comfortable and nice atmosphere. Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bedroom was lovely but a couple of housekeeping issues and on the last morning the cold water stopped working. We didn't have breakfast as we were short on time and it cost £24. It would have been nice to have a cheaper continental option for those in a rush."

"A very reasonably priced accommodation for central Cambridge. The rooms were functional (being student accommodation essentially) but perfectly clean and reasonable. There is no car parking, but staff allowed me to leave my motorbike within the grounds which was very much appreciated. The breakfast was excellent. "
