"Located close to the MRT, 7 minutes walk. Friendly and Clean. Breakfast has good options of Asian and western foods "

"We had a nice new room, walls were a bit thin, had to bang on the wall one evening (out of 5) when our neighbour started singing late at night (they stopped). Bathroom layout waaaay too small. The toilet cubicle is so small, I think if you are 6 foot or above your knees will stick out, have to take your pants off before you sit on the loo or it will be impossible to clean up. Breakfast was a la carte and good, staff lovely. Very easy to catch subway train from main station to nearby, blue line...

"I was in Taipei for a very short layover and wanted a place that was cheap, conveniently located, near transit, allowed for late check-ins (my flight landed after 10pm), and that would hold my luggage for a few hours while I ran around trying to take in a few sites. The Taiwan Youth Hostel & Capsule hotel exceeded my expectations!!! It did all that - it’s literally within a couple of blocks of one of the exits for the Main Station - but was quiet too! I actually managed to get some decent sleep...

" Chain is a very nice hotel, good bed, great bath and shower, fridge, etc and good breakfast and laundry facilities. It is virtually at the exit to the Dongmen subway stop (exit 8). Subway travel is very easy. It is a nice neighborhood. It a little quiet with few dining options, particularly nothing on Sunday night. Nice whiskey bar across the street. "

"The location is great for access to the Taipei Main Station, meaning all transit. The side street it is on has a number of shuttered businesses which make it a little quiet at night. The closest access point from TMS is the Z2 or Z4 stairs or an elevator that comes to street level between Z2 and Z4; it drops you into an underground shopping area that is active at night with many people, and which connects to TMS."

"It’s in the center of some of the best shops love the rooms and how clean it was. it also provides slippers, sleepwear, toothbrushes, q-tips and shaver (which are not provided unless you ask in some 5 star hotels). I’m impressed and my kids loved it."
