"After I took the Taoyuan Airport Express Train to the last station named Taipei Main Station I exited Gate 5 and turned right (South). I kept walking with my luggage for about 500 meters and the Via Hotel was very next to the Family Mart store (at the corner). If you want to take MRT to other places the nearest one was NTU Hospital and it was very close to the hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff was polite and helpful (they gave me a copy of the MRT map). I chose a room with no window....

"This hotel was perfect for my needs. It was centrally located, easy access to buses and trains, near many, many food options and shopping, and has a very friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a small refrigerator, AC, a kettle, cups, clean linens, shampoo, body and hand wash, and offerings of water, tea, coffee, and snacks. Also, there is an airport shuttle that you must arrange, they offer free cup noodles from 10pm-6am, have courtesy umbrellas, and the front desk is open...

"Turned out to be quite good. Relatively new. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Only issue for us is the room is a bit dark, but maybe it's ok for others.
