"You can tell this used to be a pretty good hostel and there are still some great things about it. However, it needs some tlc (tender loving care) to get it back up to par. Based on photos we saw, it looks like the lobby used to have a place to sit and change your shoes. That would be great, since you have to remove your shoes before entering each time. "It’s a new kind of Hilton for me. Clean, simple, modern rooms. Finally, no more carpeting. I loved the bed, linens, staff and,atmosphere. Great location. Respectful and helpful staff. New age simple accommodations. This property is for you. The only confusing part is, breakfast. The hotel has no restaurant. Breakfast is a giant Starbucks connected to the hotel. So simple and clean."

"VIA Taipei Station Hotel is my choice of hotel each time I visit Taiwan. I have stayed in this hotel more than 6 times. In my recent stay (11 to 18 Feb, 2025), something did not changed. All the staff including counter staff, room cleaners and general cleaners are all very friendly, helpful and is always ready to attend to queries and needs. "Convenient place to stay in, easy access to the MRT station."

"Clean comfortable and well appointed this apartment next to Taipei Main station was perfect for our first night in Taiwan. We were lucky to pick it up last minute at a reduced rate. It was well appointed with two large double beds. The shower was good and the small kitchen had everything you need for a short stay. My only criticism is that there are no bedside lights and only one has a power socket. Communication was clear and easy to follow. We would definitely look to stay here again. "
