"Be aware that if your room is facing the Tahrir square side you will be listening to loud Arabic music until 1:00 AM. - courtesy of their Lebanese restaurant. For me it was annoying as I couldn't sleep the first night luckily they moved me the following night to the Nile river side. Everything else was fine. The Italian restaurant was good but not great. I would have given this hotel 5 stars. "

"I would have given this a 5 star, but: 1) there was no VIP wellcome. 2) No basic cooking utensils. 3) Oven was not working. 4) Parking on site is expensive. "Pretty typically hostel. Nice staff. It’s all outdoors, on a rooftop, so not sure how comfortable that would be in the summer. WiFi was decent. "The City View Hotel was a safe and convenient place to stay while I was in Cairo. It is centrally located. The food, I thought was mediocre. There were a lot of packaged items for breakfast and the restaurant served meals that were adequate but the quality wasn’t that great.
