"Very good hotel near Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum. Owner and staff were very friendly. Room had two balconies, Comfortable bed, strong AC (and a fan too). Bathroom recently remodeled. Arranged a day trip to Alexandria with great driver. My only criticisms were the water in the shower was only lukewarm and when traffic is busy you can hear some car horns. Great value for the price and location!"

"We had an excellent stay at the Tahrir Plaza Suites. The positives: 1) The location is great, lots of sights are walkable and it's close to the Subway plus loads of restaurants in the area. 2) The staff were really helpful and kind. 3) The room was clean and had everything we needed. The less good bits: 1) There is pretty constant traffic noise for those rooms nearest the road so we needed earplugs in the evening (no big deal for 4 nights), 2) The hotel is on the 3rd floor (there is a lift) but...
