"Great stay, small but very nice room and everything we needed for a short weekend away in London. Great hotel in a brilliant location, high recommend."
"This hotel was a pleasant surprise. There are very few options for hotels in Camden and after spending the previous night in another hotel this was a very nice stay. The room is small, but new, clean and nice. No view at all, but it was quiet, cool and dark. Easily walkable to the busier parts of Camden and the market but much quieter and removed from the fray. Underground is right across the street so getting around is very easy. "

"Everything was amazing at this property. Easy to connect with staff via the app if you needed anything. The room was clean and decorated well. The breakfast every morning was fresh and it gave you a family feel seeing all the other guests during breakfast. The subway was about a ten minute walk away. My only suggestion would be if you are going in the summer ask for a room that doesn’t face the front street. There is no air conditioning (which is fine) but if we opened the window I could wave at the people on the second floor of the bus as a station was right outside of our room. There is also a church with a daycare so kids would be playing outside making noise which is fine if you are an early riser. Any other time of the year this would not be a problem. I would absolutely stay here again if I came back to London. "
"The room was cozy and clean. I enjoyed the cookies, tea and chocolate the hotel provided in the room. The hotel staff was particularly helpful in storing my luggage while I walked around the city both before check in and after I checked out. The location was fantastic!"
"We had a wonderful stay at The Standard. We particularly loved how dog friendly it was. Our room was a cosy room with no windows which may not suit everyone but was perfect for us because it meant it was pretty sound insulated which was ideal for our dog who doesn't like too many noises. They provided a dog bed, dog bowls as well as treats, all included in the cost of our room which was so lovely considering at other hotels we've stayed at the hotels charge us an additional cleaning fee but don't offer anything for our dog. We'll definitely be back to stay here if we need a place to stay in London. Highly recommend."
"I love this hotel. It has a perfect location, in Bloomsbury, near the British Museum and a block from the subway/ tube (on the Piccadilly line, which goes to Heathrow airport). The staff is friendly and the rooms are pretty (though, as in many London hotels, there’s no air conditioning). If you don’t feel like paying for breakfast, there’s a Pret on the corner. Plus apparently the Beatles liked to stay here; you can’t get better than that. "
"Such a nice place to stay if you need quick access to the Eurostar in London. Also near the Metro to all parts of London. The room was small, but clean and comfortable."
