"Such an exciting precinct with food and entertainment options all around. Hotel was comfortable and surrounding precinct was amazing with many food and entertainment options. Great for families but as a couple we enjoyed the hotel too. Rooftop bar has views of My Fuji on a clear day."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The rooms are small (or maybe we're just big for them), but they’re very cozy and comfortable. The staff at the reception is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We did have some translation challenges, but it added a touch of adventure to our stay. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious! "It was perfect. We are first time visitors to Tokyo, and this property was excellent for exploring each part of Tokyo day by day. With at least 3 metro station options within 6 minute walks, with direct rides to different parts of the city, we were able to achieve everything we wanted within a short space of time. "It’s 2 min walking distance from the JR Ryogoku station; don’t get confused with the subway station which is about ~12 min on feet and somewhat still durable with luggages. There are many dining options on the side street of the hotel. The room is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast which has a decent selection of western and Japanese dishes. Would come back if given the chance. "

"APA Hotel is located in a very good location. 2 min walk to the station, 5 min walk to the shopping district and multiple convenience stores around. The only complaint i would have is that the room smelled a bit odd, like an old man. There was a stray short curly hair on the black mattress cover. The ventilation in the washroom could use some work as it did not air out the steam quick and it did say not to leave the door open or else the fire alarm would go off because of the steam. "I thought this hotel was beautiful and clean and quiet which is exactly what I needed in that moment. Unfortunately I did not get to spend enough time in the area as I was just spending one night and then to the airport the next day but if I come back I will stay here again."

"About a 15-minute walk from Asakusa and a 10-minute walk to the nearest train station is where Palace Japan Hotel is located. The neighborhood is Showa era and on the quiet side. The hotel reminds me of an older motel (well maintained). The staff very welcoming and the bathrooms/showers clean! The room is dated, however it’s a room all to yourself and bonuses include: a small fridge, a large window, and television (stuck on Japanese language lol). Somewhat a walk from the main sites, however I’d stay again for the pluses! "
