There were a number of Museums and other historic landmarks and buildings in very easy walking distance as well as shopping and dining. The hotel itself has an excellent restaurant as well. "Enjoyed the location close to the Museum Quarter. We parked our car in the MQ garage about a 15 minute walk from hotel. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Ringstrasse. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delightful. Room is small and sink was in the room instead of bathroom. Street noise is loud so had to keep windows closed at night. "

"Great location for visiting Vienna-short walk to the city center, opera, naschmarkt, Hofsburg, etc. The hotel was easy to get into, and the staff were nice upon arrival. The front desk is only staffed during certain hours which makes certain normal operations of a front desk difficult. Wonderful Wien

"The staff are what make the Meridien Wien such a pleasant hotel. Smiling, happy to assist and pleasant at all times. The beds are very comfortable and rooms quiet (I had an inner courtyard room) and it is located closr to many of the attractions and transport options. Id happily stayvagain."
