"This hotel was the house of the grandparents of the owner. She is very sweet and tells you the history of the building and of her family. The hotel has only six rooms, and is therefore very special and different from a large-box hotel. It is extremely clean and the room was perfect, and in a residential, interesting neighborhood. If you want a more personal hotel and connection to Israel, compared to standard hotels, I highly recommend Hotel Biazi."

"Our stay at the Templer Inn was one of the highlights of our time in Jerusalem, and added immeasurable to the overall experience. The location in the German Colony is excellent. "The staff at the Cassia are its strongest plus . Ahwad and Ali and Zafir all went above and beyond for my wife and I during our stay . Everyone of the staff has a desire to help and it was much appreciated. Baselle was also a very excellent Barman and I had a great experience with him . The housekeeping staff did an amazing job and kept us very comfortable as well! Mary was an excellent and efficient contributor to our wonderful stay . The hotel itself was beautiful with all of the intriguing art installations and the room with a view of the old city was extremely comfortable! The bed was fantastic and linens were top notch. I can’t say enough about this stellar group of people and the place we called home for a month! Thank you Maurits Van Den Berg for your hospitality and incredible leadership to make the Cassia what it is ."
