"We wanted the light in our room to be shut off but it was a difficult task since the light was set to Shabbat mode. Unfortunately, we had the light on the whole evening and we couldn't sleep. We went and complained to the reception desk. As a courtesy, Yazen Atrash offered our family lunch which was an incredible experience. The buffet breakfast and Shabbat dinners are ver good but only half the foods and salads had descriptions of what it was. It was 90* in Jerusalem -why not have water available to guests in lobby? "I had mixed up the dates and was prepared to pay for a new room. But the staff, Maria and her colleague, sorted everything out, made a lot of phone calls so i did not need to pay for new rooms. Offered me coffe as I waited, gived me a room before they even got confirmation from hotels.com that it was okey to switch. Upgraded the room with balcony, water etc just to be nice.
