"This is an historic hotel and is just charming. the staff are friendly and courteous. The penthouse restaurant/bar has a beautiful view overlooking the beach and ocean. The menu has variety and everything we ordered was excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and again."

"The hotel is in a great location right on the beach and it has it's own beach access. This side of the beach was less crowded than by the pier, but the pier was only about a 30 min casual walk away. The hotel itself is in definite need of repairs which they were working on while we were there. However, we were only told they'd be working while we were there a few days before our arrival date and it was a nonrefundable stay.
