"Spending the weekend in Jacksonville house hunting. The hotel was very cozy but also very, very dated. I thought we had a cow printed chair in our hotel room, but it was an old leather chair with the leather flaking off all over the place. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Service at the front desk was great."

"The hotel is in a great location right on the beach and it has it's own beach access. This side of the beach was less crowded than by the pier, but the pier was only about a 30 min casual walk away. The hotel itself is in definite need of repairs which they were working on while we were there. However, we were only told they'd be working while we were there a few days before our arrival date and it was a nonrefundable stay. We got an e-mail letting us know the pool and hot tub area would be...
