"Like sleeping in an ashtray. The room had clearly been smoked on and used by a smoker. I awoke with a sore throat each morning and could smell stale smoke constantly during my stay. I was telephoned had told to check in at another premises. Not too far away however I had a heavy bag and had already travelled a few hours. The advert shows a large breakfast offering. "The place with character. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Fridge with water and beer plus coffee maker were a positive surprise. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast included in the price. The place was shutting down for refurbishment and it seemed to need some renovation work. However, it had positive vibes, interesting interior design and was conveniently located. I will want to come back to see it after refurbishment. "

"Great location, beds and pillows not the most comfortable. We had room at the back so had all the aircon fans for the building and deliveries to listen to most of the night. Staff were great especially Francesca who looked after us at breakfast. Extremely helpful and professional. "
