I just stayed one night because the next day I would leave Cuba; and I wish I knew the Villa Capitani before, the room was gorgeous! Ramiro is a great host, very helpful and he gave me lots of information about the neighborhood, he also got me very affordable transportation to the airport. The room has everything a traveler would need, with a mini-bar with refreshments and the bathroom has toiletries which are rare in Cuba. Ramiro also offers delicious breakfast server right at the terrace. I definitely recommend Villa Capitani.

Romero and Beatrice (betty) were our gracious hosts , breakfast was very good $5 per person , across the street from Fidel Castro museum. easy walk to almost everything. If traveling from the USA , stay here highly recommended . Get the breakfast before going out into Havana .

The house is very nice, safe and clean and located in a residential area of Havana and very well run. Ramiro is the best host and will guide you where to go. The city has a lot of cultural places, events, beaches and food to explore in a very convenient location. I definitely recommend this house to anyone.

I really like this place. It’s far away from the old Havana but nice to see different area (Vedado)… Good breakfast…. Wifi is horrible… doesn’t work from the room at all…. Even in common area… very slow… no good reason for that, because The hotel I have in the old Havana has a good wifi….So….

Very nice location in Vedado. Helpful and friendly owners, quiet but alive neighbourhood. Very safe to walk in except for sidewalks that are problematic at times. The wifi in the area is weak. However hotels nearby offer good wifi at low cost.

I would categorize this accommodation as “boutique hotel” but with a personalized touch. The owner met me on the afternoon of my arrival even though through an oversight I’d neglected to give him my arrival time. He made no complaints. The place is lovely, comfortable, such a comfortable bed, best ever! Bathroom toiletries and disposable slippers provided to provide a luxury feel to the place. Wonderful location in Vedado, near the Malecón and across the street from Fidel Castro museum.

El Hotel Villa Capitani fue nuestro oasis de tranquilidad durante nuestra estadía en La Habana. Excelente ubicación en el Vedado. Las rutas principales de los almendrones (taxis colectivos) muy cerca, Línea a una cuadra y la 23 a cinco minutos a pie. El cuarto, la sala/comedor y ante todo la terraza son muy acogedor, de buen gusto y bien cuidados. El anfitrión Ramiro muy amable y siempre dispuesto a resolver cualquier problema de sus clientes que esté a su alcance. Sin duda, un lugar que podemos recomendar.

A estadia foi muito agradável! O quarto é muito espaçoso, o banheiro também. O café da manhã (pago à parte, não estava incluso na diária) foi muito farto e saboroso. A localização é boa, está próximo a cafés, restaurantes, ao Malecon; é uma região bem calma, muito arborizada. O Ramiro foi muito atencioso! Recomendo!
