"This hostel is fabulous and saved me. Dont ever go to a hostel called JUNZI near the ferry. Its scam, unsafe and shady. No staff Luckily I was able to find casa coral and i had a car to drive back and forth. Sanny was amazing and gathered everyone to eat pizza on thanksgiving! We had an amazing time! "You arrive at Drifters as a guest and leave as FAMILY!! Ive stayed at numerous hotels in negril, all very nice. However, Drifters is simply Magical! I booked originally for 5 night stay but the connections and experience I had there made me extend my stay 2 more nights!!! I WILL be back! So much so, that Drifters will be tired to see my face. "The service was horrible. I didn’t even stay there. They was rude before I got there. Try to charge extra charges on me for checking in. I contacted customer service and customer service told me that I couldn’t get my refund back. What a waste of time with them and you. "

Excellent Location and Rooms

"The Renaissance has an excellent location at the border of Otrobanda and Munda- accessible to many activities and restaurants and very safe, even at night. My room was spacious, ergonomic, and included a large, flat-screen TV with plentiful American channels and Netflix, with clear reception. In addition, the hotel restaurant buffet menu and food were high quality, both for breakfast and dinner, albeit expensive ($32 USD for breakfast and $50 for dinner. I enjoyed the hotel's man-made beach and saltwater wave pool, although my eyes stung after swimming laps in the pool- too much chlorine. The wave pool and man-made beach was satisfactory to me. However, some people may be disappointed at the lack of a natural beach and accompanying ocean water."
