"We enjoyed a lovely stay. The staff were all fantastic, the breakfast was lovely with lots of choice, the evening meals were also delicious. The spa is nice, shame that some guests don’t read the rules to allow others to enjoy the place (maybe they should be put up outside the spa entrance). The room was beautiful with lovely bedding. Location for us was great too, just outside but a very short way to the centre. Can’t fault anything. We’d definitely come back. "

"Good tourist Hotel. Rooms are compact. The hotel's policy of no attention to the rooms during our stay (3days) was not great. Although the hotel says you can always ask, as a guest I should not have to ask for garbage emptying, clean glasses or a bathroom clean daily."

"This historic hotel is a hidden gem in Vienna. There is a great restaurant, both ambiance and food, on the roof that is reasonably priced. The location is great, close to everything - we walked to everything. The rooms are soundproofed and new. Most of all the service is top. Thank you!"

"Hotel Kolpinghaus Wein Zentral was a great place to stay and I would totally recommend it as a place to stay. It is easily walkable (15 mins.) to the museums and many of the major sites in central Vienna; it is 5 mins walk to the underground and there are loads of restaurants (all types of cuisine), in the local vicinity. All the hotel staff are amazing; everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is very good and the staff are amazing at keeping everything topped up and clearing/cleaning the tables promptly. The whole place was always spotlessly clean - our room, bathroom, the corridors, the dining area and reception. "

Another great stay at the Meridien in Vienna

"Great hotel in the centre of Vienna just a couple of minutes walking distance away from the Opera, main shopping area and other atractions like the Hofburg. Very nice restaurant and bar with a lot of food and drink options. The spa is ok including an indoor pool and jackuzzy but the water temperature of the pool was to cold."
