"I booked the hotel based on other reviews of their breakfast. It is better than most breakfasts I have enjoyed in the past eg: scrambled eggs included green onions and spinach, latte machine and whip and berries for the DIY waffles. It was well managed with friendly staff. It also included high chairs which was ideal for me and my 8 month old. Check in was easy, the room was updated and lovely. The building and halls are older, but if you look past that, it was a 5 star experience. Thank you...

"The Beaconsfield Inn is an amazing place to stay. The 1905 structure has original charm. The shared spaces are unique and interesting and they take you back in time. Our room was beautiful and spotless. Our breakfast was amazing just as is the owner of the inn. She is friendly, and very accommodating. We would definately return, as well as recommend it to others. "Great hotel and friendly staff. Room was nice and recently renovated and delicious restaurant-Ruby’s, right downstairs. In addition to street parking (which can be hard to come by and costly), the only other option is a valet service for $20. There’s also a parkade within walking distance for $15 a day. Not great, but that’s just the reality when you’re downtown. Otherwise, really enjoyed my stay. "
