The building is older but it is in excellent condition and the feel is like going to visit your grandparents elegant old home. The room was on the second floor. We climbed the spacious stairway to get there. The carpet is thick and in wonderful condition, my husband calls it "theater carpeting." Plantation...

"We got stuck on orcas island overnight during one of our days we stayed, and the lady at the front desk gave us a refund for one of the nights. The food in the dining area was very delicious and the people of lopez island were very friendly. Thank you so much for your hospitality. "

"The bathroom lighting was extremely poor. We were there for a wedding and got ready with poor lighting. It was awful. My sister who was in another room had no mirrors in the room. We had to go out to buy mirrors. Not sure if we would come back to this hotel. "
