"I was pleasantly surprised with the Arbutus Inn. It has been renovated and is very bright and inviting. I found it to be very clean and the staff to be friendly. I particularly want to thank the housekeeping staff and Rigel at the front desk who called me immediately after I'd checked out and driven away without my laptop. They held it for me until I could get back that afternoon and retrieve it. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Victoria!"

"We enjoyed a quick one night stay at the Rialto and we would recommend it. The room was quite nice for the price point, and everything was very very clean. We loved the location right close to the bus route and services. We did not experience the restaurant so cannot comment on that. There was no breakfast included, but there was a selection of teas and fresh coffee in the lobby "
