"We arrived later than we had planned but received a warm welcome from the hosts. We had the family room which is a good size, well decorated, warm and comfortable. The accomodation was spotless. We didnt eat there but will need to be in Cambridge in aroun 6 months time, so hoping we can stay again. Great value for money. Highly recommended. "

"Lovely big room, very comfy bed and gorgeous quality bed linen. A friendly, welcoming hotel where everyone is hard working. Our dog Jessica was made very welcome too. My only feedback is that I am a very light sleeper and somewhere in the hotel there was a door banging which I think can be easily solved by tightening up the damper. "

"This is a beautiful B&B in a quiet residential area. The large garden is a perfect place to relax and defuse after a busy day. There is also a big public park a short distance away that has football nets, basketball, tennis, etc. The Holly Tree is walking distance from the bus station where there is a bus going downtown every 5 minutes. "Great location! About a 5-10 minute walk to everything in Cambridge. The biggest pain is how bad the traffic is getting to the hotel and really only having the option for valet parking. But it was a wonderful stay. The staff was top notch as were all the facilities. Another guest had room service and left their tray in the hall for what seemed like a very long time. But other wise it was great!"

Fabulous hotel

"Luca the manager and all front desk staff were excellent, really helpful and welcoming. The late night bar staff were difficult to find and perhaps need more training. My husband asked for a glass of Gavi (white wine which we had had in the restaurant) the member of staff didn’t know what it was and pointed to the spirits and the champagne questioningly. Then my husband asked for a cup of coffee and there was was only oat milk to go with it. So we decided to call it a night. Hotel is ideally placed for exploring the wonderful city of Cambridge. The hotel room was clean, spacious and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend "
