"Breakfast was mediocre, lukewarm, and exactly the same each day, which is a drag when you're staying multiple days. Coffee was quite dreadful. Thankfully I was the only one in the bed, as it had a person-sized divot in the middle from all the previous occupants; new mattresses or at least turning them would be a plus. Asked for a new lightbulb in my room as it was missing entirely, took them 24 hours and 2 requests to brig one. Charged an additional "service" fee on top of my Hotels.com prepaid...

"Nice location in downtown Evanston, but it is a bit too close to the L and Metra trains. I sleep with some powerful earplugs, so I didn't have any sleeping problems. But if that train noise would be an issue for you, I suggest staying at some of the other hotels that have the positives of the downtown Evanston location but are a bit farther away from the trains.
