Hotels with Bars / Lounges in Double Bay

"It was a great hotel to stay in, just book a harbour view room. We didn't use any of the facilities there as we were in meetings or catching up with colleagues while there. We stayed on the 11th floor with a harbour view and what a view it was. Just like their cover page. We decided to stay on the north side for a change from the city and we loved it and will stay on that side again. We could hear the trains going under the building sometimes but I think it was so windy that it covered the noise from below. Very easy check in and out and very convenient with the train just a 5 min walk from the hotel. Plenty of food outlets in the area that were easy enough to walk to. Nice outside area to sit and have a drink with the harbour view as well. We will be back."

"Beautiful beds, pillows and towels. Rain shower head and great little lights lower down beside the bed and in the bathroom. Close to Wynyard station, QVB & Town Hall. "

"I had to make two separate reservations for one stay, yet they were able to accommodate me without any problem. In fact they also helped me to avoid any fees as I had to cut short my stay. Manager and front desk lady Yamna were wonderful. Thank you!"

The staff were awesome, the service every bit as good and the room and view was superb. If you are so inclined, try 'The Grain Bar' , for a fantastic selection of whiskies from around the world.
