"Reception staff are fantastic and very friendly. It's centrally located to the CBD, Darling Harbour and a short walk to Chinatown and Paddy's market. The entrance is nice and professional. My only criticism would be that the building is in need of a fresh lick of paint. It's obviously an old building converted into the hotel, and this gives it the lovely period feel, but on fine inspection you start to notice the problems. "The hotel was good but we encountered a few issues upon arrival. The room wasn’t ready, TV wasn’t working and air conditioning wasn’t working either but they were quickly resolved. Staff was good and helpful. All in all, good stay and good experience. "

"This hip little hotel is conveniently close to the airport. Didn't hear planes taking off once from my room facing the airport. Not too bad for transport links, took the local bus from airport and wheeled my bag to the hotel. Wasn't too much of a hike but if your carrying lots of luggage maybe a trek. Took their convenient shuttle bus from the hotel to get back to the airport. Do book their shuttle in advance!! Gets booked out in the morning runs and I was lucky to get onboard a full bus. "

"Location of the Hilton is amazing! It's at the heart of CBD and right across from Queen Victoria building, which is a shopper's paradise. It's also right across the train station. The hotel in itself is very convenient, with an onsite restaurant and a cafe. We ordered breakfast, coffee and hot chocolate at the cafe everyday and it was delicious. "My wife & I stayed at the Albert Hotel mainly because it was near the wedding venue Athol Hotel. The hotel is perfect if you’re invited to any weddings at Athol Hall Mosman. Mosman is a vibrant affluent area with fabulous cafe’s and restaurants. The Albert is only about 150 yds from Hotel Mosman which is a fantastic pub/ restaurant where you can buy a porterhouse steak 300g for under 20AUD! As for the hotel it was lovely we upgraded to having a bath. It had 2 showers his& hers! The bed was large and comfy. The only minor criticism was we were staying 9 nights and there was very little drawers for folded clothes so we moved the tea making stuff out and utilised the draws. Special mention to Stephanie the cook who makes the best omelettes ever also the lovely Julia who despite her broken foot served us well. The hotel was spotlessly clean and would highly recommend the Albert. It’s also ideally situated for Balmoral Beach and busses to Manly 144. "
