Everything about my stay was excellent. The staff were friendly, and the location was great. The only downside was that they didn’t accept cash for payment, so I had to use my credit card and incur an international transaction fee.

The ambience of the Hotel is excellent, there are a variety of dining options both within the Hotel and the surrounds. Easy walking distance to everything in Sydney. Transport at the door. Lovely historic building.

I enjoyed my stay overall. Room 514: stains on the chairs, window curtain, & carpet. I received a towel with a hole in it, & a rag with a large brown stain on it. One day housekeeping did not knock or ring my doorbell, & she used her key & barged into my room. She then asked afterwards if I wanted my room serviced. Another day I walked into my room & man was in there checking something with the light. A heads up would have been nice. The food was mediocre & over priced. I would absolutely come back to stay in the future but they do need to work on a few things.
