"I went to see Jethro Tull Christmas at Salisbury Cathedral and this was the perfect safest way for a female lone traveller like myself to complete my task and I was not disappointed. Unfortunately as i brand new lone traveller i had to learn a couple of lessons: first if you book 1 room and then add another room later you will be asked to move rooms. Second if you are staying around Christmas you may be at the mercy of extremely noisy party goers staggering home. I was too scared to ring...

"Rooms are nice and well equipped but is a bit cold also situated on a main road traffic noises quite loud."

"Lovely hotel in very convenient and beautiful riverside setting. A few minutes walk through Cathedral Close (gates open until 11pm) to picturesque City Centre. Comfortable beds, plentiful good quality breakfast buffet with attentive staff. The only downside is the decor is very tired, including several broken boarded up windows in public spaces that await replacement"

"Pre Christmas stay to meet family half way. Room was fine, but no hooks to hang coats up. Bar and restaurant service was good, even though it was very busy with Christmas works meals. Shout out to our waiter Toby for the excellent service."
