"We absolutely loved our stay at Camino Real Tikal! We enjoyed the hotel and the lake beach was so beautiful and the water was crystal clear. The staff went above and beyond for us in many ways, always greeting us with a smile and the best attitude. The hotel was being remodeled and we couldn't enjoy the jacuzzi and other parts of the property. "We totally love this place! Staff is super friendly, check in was super quick and the food was amazing. This area is very secluded and quiet. No TVs in room which helped us connect with each other. The only issue we had is that the blankets smelled like mold but they changed them immediately once we asked. We recommend it!"

"This was my third stay here at this wonderful oasis. Managers Javier & Israel made sure I had everything I needed and are very professional & solicitous. Staff personnel including Osman, Kendal, Allen & Wilmer are most gracious with their hospitality. The meals here, especially breakfast, are terrific with fruit and sides generally locally sourced. "Gringo Perdido is a true slice of paradise—a perfect escape for both relaxation and adventure. Nestled amid the lush beauty of the Mayan landscape, on a serene lake, the resort is the perfect home away from home. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the meals are always fresh and delicious. "La Lancha is an amazing place to stay if you like nature. We enjoyed every minute during our stay. The staff is very accommodating and provides excellent customer service. We enjoyed the sauna (temascal), swam in the lake and the hotel crew helped us coordinate a boat sunset trip to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The sauna and boat is at an additional cost but is definitely worthy, They offer free continental breakfast and the food is good! We rented a car in Peten which gave us the freedom...
