"Great choice for a full service, landmark hotel with character. Our room was enormous with wonderful high ceilings and very quiet. The hotel opened in 1903 so there are naturally a few signs of its age but the rooms and spaces are attentively cared for. Its central location makes everything in walking distance, especially the pedestrian areas of Manchester. The staff were unfailingly helpful and positive. We stayed 3 nights and took full advantage of the large lobby lounge and bar which served coffee/lunch/tea/drinks, dinner. An excellent value for our experience. "

"We were checked in and checked out the next day by Nalin. He was wonderful, helpful, very happy and a joy to woek with. I only wish that every hotel stay would be as pleasant as Nalin made ours. He even arranged the cabs for us early in the morning. Two giant thumbs up."
