"I’m surprised this is only 3 stars. I travel for work and we always book 4 star minimum so I am a bit of a snob when I visit hotels now having stayed in some really fancy places. However the mill came recommended from previous stays from other colleagues. I booked a cosy deluxe double with breakfast. The room was nice and modern, great shower and good aircon. Good selection of tea /coffee and some biscuits. My only complaint about the room was the lack of a fridge (travelling on business, I really appreciate this) and the bed was 2 singles put together - although it was still comfy on the side I was at. The spa was great and included in the hotel room price, and a good gym too. Breakfast was good with a decent selection , and we ate in one night at the restaurant and it was really good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Staff were friendly and humorous"

"All great apart from the charge of £20 per person to use pool facilities. Very disappointing as having travelled all day in the heat was looking forward to a cool down in the pool. "

"Great location , short walk to 2 local pubs so no shortage of food and drink in the place or locally. Room nice and clean , service good , it was a last minute booking as our car had broken down and was put in a local garage, so couldn’t get home , so didn’t get chance to use the facilities as we had no extra clothes etc , but would come back and stay again hopefully under better circumstances"

"Comfortable room with loads of space (club room). My only gripe was the breakfast, sort of half a full English with half of the hot stuff being luke warm. Otherwise the hotel is fab, staff are super helpful, rooms are nice and clean and beds are very comfy! "

"Wonderful, the staff were immediately helpful and relaxed. We were allowed into our room early, got a parking space and it was flawless. The breakfast was perfect, our stay perfect and I would come again. We only had 4 teabags in the room so had to buy some the second day but its hardly a big issue. Amazing hotel, friendly staff and fabulous break...thank you. It was appreciated. "

"The hotel is excellent. The staff are amazing especially at reception. The room was nice but I would upgrade next time as the room was next to an air conditioning unit which was quite noisy at night."
