"Breakfast was good daily. Bathrooms definitely not good for seniors, as no step in showers and no rails in bathtub. Toilets way too low! Needs some upgrading and I believe that is happening now."

"Communication from the host was outstanding. The room was clean and cozy. No tv in the room, but we really didn’t care. It was a surprise for my family and they loved it. Perfect if you want a quiet affordable getaway. Walking distance to inner harbor. Breakfast was included and provided by a family owned cafe called Imagine. Your choice of fruit and yogurt or a breakfast sandwich on banock bread… it was called Imagine Cafe and they make an awesome wood fired pizza."

"The rooms are comfortable and cosy. The property has easy access to the Esquimalt Lagoon for birdwatching or walks by the ocean. It's an easy drive to shopping and services, and not very far (20-30 minutes) to downtown Victoria. The hosts are kind, responsive and well-organized. The kitchenette suites are perfect for self catering."

"It is an older property but nicely renovated, clean and comfortable. The restaurant and pub were excellent- good food and drink. Began to understand a lot of regulars go there and support it. Very nice and quiet atmosphere."

"We were greeted by name by Cathy and shown our room, which was just as pictured. Breakfasts were lovely and picture perfect, thank you Martin. The Inn is easily walkable to the downtown harbor area and Beacon Hill Park. Our departure ferry was leaving early before breakfast, Cathy made sure we had coffee and snacks available in our room. Perfect!"

"Chateau Victoria--for the price of a room elsewhere I sometimes upgrade to a full suite there. Clean, tidy, nice walkable area downtown near inner harbour. Easy parking even for a pick up truck. Always consistently a great place to stay!"
