"Smart property with friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet served in the morning. Hotel is in a quieter area of Blackpool seafront which will suit many, but otherwise it's a bit of a walk to attractions and facilities."

"Just returned from an overnight stay at the Lucena with my partner and toddler. Arrived early and asked if we could leave our cases but we were able to check in straight away. We had room number 3 which was a double bed and bunk bed room. We had more than enough room for us all. The beds were really comfy which was definitely needed after countless walks up and down to see the illuminations and the kettle in the room was very welcomed. Hotel was in a great location and close to the attractions but was also quiet. Carlton was a lovely host and we absolutely would be booking again on our next return to Blackpool. Thanks!"

"Great hotel with brilliant location next door to the pleasure park. Great for families and bedrooms are really well thought out and as new condition. Food and drinks are pricey as is the parking which they charge from 12pm-12pm but you can only check in from 3pm (and at which time I arrived at the hotel). "

"Fantastic large suite room with seaview . Great breakfast and staff couldn’t do enough. Free parking and great value . Couldn’t recommend enough . Some wear and tear on carpet and decor ."
