"We came to the hotel not really expecting much for the price but when we got there we were greeted with friendly service truly outstanding place and room for the price you really cant fault it, unfortunately we were only able to stay for 1 of the 2 nights we booked due to us just not feeling very well and we just wanted to go home but we really did enjoy our visit and if we could have stayed for that extra night we definitely wouldnt have regretted staying at the royal alaxander, brilliant place"

"All was fine unless you’re pathetic enough to complain about 1 cracked tile in a huge multi floor hotel for £49 per night. Most Britannia hotels are great but are allowed to get run down so it I what it is and the Grand was just fine. Drinks were surprisingly well priced. A short and coke was buy 1 get 1 free so 4 cost £12.50. Car parking was £7 per day. Gorgeous swimming pool and great sea views. Only complaint is it’s a bit out of the way but that’s by the by. Would highly recommend unless you’re royalty!"

"At first I thought that for the price I have paid I would be getting just my moneys worth. But I was surprised by it being the Biggest Hotel opposite Winter Gardens. I saw a major upgrade in the property since I last came here. I loved playing pool in the games room next to the lobby and enjoyed a drink at the bar. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I also visited Pleasure Beach and had a fantastic break. Definitely going back next year to celebrate my moms 25th anniversary. "

"Great hotel only 6 or 7 mins from front. New and modern. Comfortable bed, powerful shower, good quality towels and bedding. Air con, fridge, safe, ironing board. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Secure parking at a good rate. Negatives - WiFi could have been stronger. "
