"A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son. The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. "Nice hotel, and the most popular venue in Dolgellau. Ensure you arrange your evening meal before 8pm, as everything stops serving early (out of season), including the hotel. Was extremely disappointing to be left with just a kebab shop at 8:20pm, with absolutely no alternatives. Town has some nice eateries, but everything shuts early and it feels like a ghost town by 9pm. "

"I arrived early but was able to access my room straight away. I was initially told that my room still had to be paid for but I had prepaid. This was resolved quickly however. The hotel is conveniently located on a regular bus route and I took the opportunity to visit Blaenau Ffestiniog 20 minutes away. The evening meal was excellent with plenty of choice on the menu. My room was fine and extremely comfortable. Some slight traffic noise as it was at the front of the property."
