"The Coal Shed is a great place to stay and so reasonably priced for what you get. It's cute, comfortable, stylish and well thought out. There is a self service bar with an honesty box, very cool! The local area is hip and Bristol city center is all walkable, although we got an Uber. Love this place and will definitely use it again next time we come here for a gig."

"Stayed in a 1 bedroom family apartment. A period property that has been stylishly decorated. Comfortable bed with plump pillows and quality bed linen. Daughter said could feel springs in pull out sofa but not too much to grumble about. A great position off the Clifton triangle so walk pretty much anywhere with lots of restaurants nearby. Very nice hotel

"Lovely stay in the Bristol Clayton hotel. We were initially given a small triple room, when we were expecting a double room. The lovely staff very happily sorted it out for us, and we had a very comfortable stay. Great location for exploring Bristol. Can recommend the Belgian bar opposite, the strawberry thief! "
