"Lovely small ryokan with a nice Onsen. Spacious room with views over the quaint thermal springs village of Arimacho, which was just a short walk down the hill. Gracious, helpful hosts."

"The hotel should give notice to guests at reservation how to take shuttle bus from either bus station or train station to the hotel as the hotel is on a hill."

"The services were great, not too much either. The ocean view from the hotel was fantastic. The furniture at the lobby was comfortable and the view was nice too. Breakfast was delicious!"

"Really lovely ryokan and onsen with beautiful ocean views. The futons were very comfortable, as well. It's a little outside of Wakayama city (about 30 minutes/¥3500 by taxi), but there is a nearby bus and they have a parking area if you are driving. The staff speaks a little English, but don't expect the same level of English that you might get at a larger, urban hotel. Overall, it was very relaxing and I would definitely recommend it."

"Staff explained well the dining experience, what to expect and how to eat and the food served. Onsen was great. Kobe to this place was only 1 bus ride and direct. Then just walk leisure 3mins to the hotel. "
