The onsen facilities were excellent - exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy the amazing surroundings. The kaiseki dinner on the 1st night and the Kobe beef on the 2nd night were excellent. The property is located in the outskirts of the main village of Arima and is about 25 minutes on foot up a hill. Travellers with mobility issues may find this property difficult to access unless prior transport is arranged with hotel reception staff. We stayed overnight in a standard Japanese-style room. The room, well-appointed on the top 6th floor, is very spacious and has amazing views of the mountains...
