There was only one other guest staying at the same time as us, and Ken offered us the use of two rooms of our choice to better accommodate our family, free of charge. "Our stay here was...ok. Nothing was horrible, just a little off putting. If you just need a place to crash for a night it’s fine. Our host wasn’t exactly welcoming, she didn’t give us much of a tour or explanation of the place. Just, here’s your room and here’s the bathroom and then disappeared. I noticed there were dvds in kitchen area, but no DVD player. There were cleaning supplies left all over the place, like spray bottles and scrub brushes. "It was a perfect place to land after a very long transport (over 20 hours). Kiyo was very helpful and got me from the airport the evening before and to the train station the next day. She is very pleasant and her room is restful and traditional Japanese. It was a great entry to Japan.She even had a selection of pillows."
