"Okay , yes the floors creak and its a bit old but the management and staff are fabulous. The hotel has a very welcoming feel about it . The food and beverages were reasonable priced and the breakfast and the three dinners I had were excellent quality and very tasty. My room was very clean upon arrival , my bed sadly was very hard and uncomfortable but you don't go to such a scenic area to snooze it all away. I will definitely return.,"

"Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Cairngorm Suite with my husband and 2 kids (5years & 4 months old). Firstly the location was perfect and in walking distance to countless pubs, restaurants, shops etc. The room itself was beautiful and the bedroom especially was incredibly spacious. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding/duvets etc all felt really good quality. Bathroom was spotless, the shower wasnt very powerful but thats being pernickety. Plenty of storage space throughout the suite...

"We got delayed in getting to Aviemore before the check in time. The owner was very gracious and set up our room and gave us the code to the door. Breakfast was good but it’s not self service for the fruit, yogurt and juices. You’ll need to find a staff person to get it for you. I expected a small room with single bed but was delighted to have a large double bed. ensuit was rather small but that didnt bother me. Loads of hot water and big fluffy soft towels. "The hotel is located within some outstanding scenery with Loch Alvie literally on your doorstep. We were all made to feel welcome, including Dizzy the dog , and the chefs produced some delicious food as we sat near a blazing log fire. Room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed. The only grumble we would have is that we were charged for our dog's stay on a nightly basis, to cover additional cleaning, as opposed to per visit, you would only clean the room once even after 2 nights stay."

"Had a lovely two night stay. The corner bath was a deciding factor when deciding where to stay. We found the place to be clean and although we didn’t see staff we also didn’t have a need to see them. The key lock was easy to use to collect the key and return it. They were aware of my wife’s dietary needs as we had enquired about places to eat. When we arrived along with the usual tea/coffee biscuit were some harribo which felt like they cared enough to look into alternatives for gluten free....
