"Really relaxing stay - the hotel is in a stunning Glen on the edge of the Caingorms with spectacular scenery. The staff were really helpful (all of them) and my evening dinner was great. I regret not staying for longer, but will be back. Only negative (but may be a positive) was the lack of a phone signal - although the wifi was great."

"The reason for choosing this hotel was the leisure facilities which we've used before. Not until after we'd made the booking did they email us to say the leisure facilities were closed for repair. I asked for some compensation and was told bluntly "No" and that the booking couldn't be cancelled. Rude and a rip-off. The room we were given over looked a flat roof with machinery - not exactly Royal Deeside. Won't be going back."
