"Lovely spacious apartment that was very clean and modern and high tech. The public areas were beautifully designed and clean and the property had a lovely rooftop terrace. However, sometimes the high tech appliances, such as the oven was difficult to operate so perhaps some instructions would be of help as we couldn't use it! "Lovely hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was extensive with great range of options and the additional restaurants were also nice (even if the ground floor restaurant prices were a little upmarket). Also 10 min walk from main bus stop and bus from airport does stop outside the hotel. The rooftop restaurant was also lovely, however glare inside the restaurant made it a bit difficult to appreciate views at night. Would recommend to anyone in staying in Arrecife. "

"The staff were friendly and accommodating and the entire hotel was very clean. Excellent for the price we paid. Only room for improvement was that the wifi was very poor and we had to use mobile data. I think it would also greatly improve the rooms if they included a kettle and or a mini fridge for drinks snacks. (I know there is a communal kitchen, but this would be an upgrade)"

"I had a really nice stay here. The room was spacious, the bed/pillow was very comfortable, it was quiet and the curtains blocked out the light well. A kettle would have made the room better as I drink lots of tea but never mind. Breakfast was included and worth getting up early for. "The hotel is in a great location next to the promenade, great for walking, running and cycling etc. Not so good though if you want to be in the thick of the action. When we turned up to eat the table we had chosen had been allocated to a party of 6 and we were informed no one can book a table!! The member of staff who told us this was quite off hand and rude. "Villa Vik was a great place for a peaceful holiday with excellent accommodation, food and staff. Swimming in the pool was a real pleasure. Our only reservation was that there were too few staff on duty; often it appeared that just one person had to set tables, staff reception and serve drinks at the bar / pool. They did so cheerfully and helpfully but were stretched."
