"Lovely spot! I was there mid week through the weekend. Mid week it was wonderfully quiet, not a peep. Other guests can be noisy on weekends, coming back late, sfter drinking. Place is squeaky clean. "Another great stay at Audubon Cottages in New Orleans. This time we stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage and loved every minute of it. Romantic and private with a soaking tub, great service and close to everything in French Quarter yet removed enough to be peaceful. Small scale and very unique historic property. "Great location-nice to have the kitchenette- bedroom is real small- tiny walking area -to Gr in/out of bed. It’s a great location for French quarter activities and close to canal st also-for street car access. It is very noisy if your room is on street side-can’t be helped-its just old wwindows close to street lead to noise. Property has free laundry option-great to have but bring your own laundry soap-there’s none available onsite. We will try to stay here again next time we are in NOLA."

"Great hotel. Fantastic location. Hotel & Restaurant/Bar staff were excellent - attentive, courteous, and kind. Food was great,too. Room was comfortable and clean, streetview location was very quiet. We stayed during a snowstorm (!) and you could tell the staff was dedicated to working together to keep everything running smoothly in a crazy circumstance. Wonderful, except rude receptionists last day

"Fabulous historic hotel with some truly wonderful and giving staff. From the “bellhops”, bar and restaurant staff to the concierge nothing was too much trouble for them. Balcony room looking over the pool quite small for two with luggage, but it is an old building. Only letdown were a couple of miserable receptionists on our last day. Rude, unhelpful and obviously did not want to be there. Everything seemed like a bother to these particular two, spent a lot of time on the phone and ignored everyone else when doing so, not even an acknowledgment you were there or a smile. Such a shame a simple thing like this can spoil a fabulous hotel in, what is for us, a once in a lifetime trip. "
