"Check in was easy, since I booked the hotel room through Hotels.com. The room was clean except the bathroom floor. It was waxy and our shoes slipped. I cleaned the floor myself with soap and water and that helped. We had ask the front desk to ask housekeeping for anything extra, like clean towels, extra kleenex and trash bags. "Hotel is in a good location for visiting the French Quarter. Rooms are decent and fairly clean. In my room the bath tile walls hadn't been cleaned recently and the headboards did not look very clean at all. Like they had been wiped with dirty rags or something. Also the room heat/ac unit was pretty noisy. It was in the 50's while we were there so heat was on and seemed to make a lot of noise for a heat unit. "Our stay at Loews made a great trip incredible! I have to mention Allisant (sp?), who upgraded our room when he found out it was my 40th birthday. Thank you sooo much! I felt so special. They also sent up wine and cheese and a birthday card! The hotel is central to so many attractions. It was quiet at night and I felt safe in the area. The beds were VERY comfortable and the room was clean. Even the restaurant was great! I will definitely be back when we visit again!"

"Room was fantastic size & very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious but didn’t like the shower/tub combo. There was a strong smell of weed in the hallway so wasn’t impressed with that.
